Parents click HERE to download, print, and return our emergency release form for the 2023-2024 school year (forms are also available in the church office). Your student must have this form completed to participate in Hop 1st UMC Youth activities!

Saturday, 05/04
Feeding America Outreach & Brunch
On Saturday, May 4th the Youth will join with the rest of Hop 1st UMC in taking part in the Feeding America Food Distribution beginning at 7:30am at the Western KY Fairgrounds. Afterwards, we will go to a restaurant and have some time in fellowship and eat some brunch!

Confirmation Sunday,
Sunday Night Youth, and
Safe Sanctuary Volunteer Training
Join us at our 11:00am Traditional Service as our 2024 Confirmands make their professions of faith and join the church!
We'd love for your middle and/or high school student(s) to join us for Sunday Night Youth! We begin our night with a time of Food and Fellowship from 5:30pm-6:00pm. At 6:00pm we go over announcements, have a short time of worship, and a prayer. Afterwards, we break into small groups. Our girls small group is currently going through an Armor of God video Bible Study with Priscilla Shirer; our boys small group is about to begin a study called 31 Bible Verses Everyone Should Know. We end our night with a group game which starts around 7:00pm and is done by 7:30pm.
Beginning at 5:30pm in the Youth Lounge Pastor Chris will be holding a Safe Sanctuary Training for our volunteers. This is a training that must be completely each year in order to volunteer to work with our students. If you are able, please make every effort to attend!

Senior Recognition Decorating Party
Students who are no graduating high school are asked to come help decorate Cornell Hall at 10:00am for the Senior Recognition Sunday Luncheon which will take place the following day!

Join us at our 11:00am Traditional Service as we celebrate with and recognize our High School Graduates, Class of 2024!

Our Youth Council will have a meeting at 5:30pm in the Youth Lounge to go over the Spring Quarter, and discuss our plans and schedule for the summer months! If you are a member of this council, please make every effort to attend!
