Hey students! Join us every Sunday in the Youth Lounge for Youth Sunday School! We’ve got food, coffee, fellowship, and fun—all in a relaxed and welcoming space. If your student hasn’t yet experienced our new Wednesday Night Youth Worship, we hope they’ll join us soon! Here are the details:

- Activities: Live worship, group games, engaging lessons, and meaningful discussions!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake fundraiser
Our Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Fundraiser is coming soon! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 4th. Students will be asked to serve, and parents are asked to donate supplies. Click HERE to signup to serve and/or donate! All proceeds support our Camps and Retreats Fund, helping offset costs for events like the Fall Retreat, Engage Retreat, and Fun in the Son.

Ash Wednesday Service
We hope you'll make plans to join us for our Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, March 5th, from 5:15 - 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary. This special service marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection and renewal as we journey toward Easter.
Please note that due to the Ash Wednesday service, we will not have our normally scheduled Youth Worship that evening. We encourage our students and families to attend the service together as we prepare our hearts for this meaningful season. We hope to see you there!

The Engage Retreat @ Camp Loucon
The Hop 1st UMC Youth will be heading to Camp Loucon from March 14th–16th for the 2025 Engage Retreat! Open to students in 6th–12th grade, this retreat offers an exciting opportunity to experience the impact of camp ministry through worship, adventure activities, and much more.
We’ll meet at the church on Friday, March 14th, at 4:45 PM and plan to depart by 5:00 PM. Our group will return on Sunday, March 16th, around 1:00 PM. This year’s Engage Retreat will be led by Dean Jamelle Jones, who currently pastors college students at the Wesley Foundation at the University of Louisville. The cost to attend is $120.
