Sunday Night Youth Worship Night
We’re excited to invite students to our Sunday Night Youth Worship Night on Sunday, December 8th at 6:00pm in the Youth Lounge! This will be a meaningful evening featuring live worship for the very first time in this newly adapted space.
This special event is a wonderful opportunity for students to come together in praise and reflection as we look forward to a new season in our ministry. Starting January 8th, we’ll be shifting our weekly gatherings from Sunday evenings to Wednesday nights, and this night of worship is the perfect way to prepare for what’s ahead!
We can’t wait to worship with your students and celebrate all that God is doing in our church, schools, and community. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Youth Christmas Party & Caroling
Our Youth's Christmas Party will be Sunday afternoon, December 15th at the Crusty Pig at 1:00pm. After we eat lunch, we will celebrate by playing a Dirty Santa Gift Exchange game (lunch and gifts for the game will be provided by the church). Around 2:45pm we will travel back to the church to join others in Christmas Caroling. Parent Pickup will be at the church around 4:30pm.

Hop 1st UMC Youth
We’re thrilled to announce a new chapter for our Hop 1st UMC Students! Beginning Wednesday, January 8th, we will shift to meeting on Wednesday nights to offer an even more dynamic and family-focused experience. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Time: 6:30pm - 7:30pm
- Location: Youth Lounge
- Activities: Live worship, group games, engaging lessons, and meaningful discussions!
We are excited as this change will align with our Wednesday night programming, creating a great opportunity for families to connect as they dine together in Cornell Hall and participate in activities for all ages! Mark your calendars and join us as we embrace this exciting transition. We can’t wait to see you there!

Sound Waves Water Park
Join us as the Hop 1st UMC Youth have some summer fun in January at the Sound Waves Indoor Water Park located inside the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN! We will depart from the church immediately following the conclusion of the 9:00am Modern Worship Service on Sunday, January 12th, we plan to arrive back to the church around 8:00pm. The cost is $45 per person which includes lunch at the water park. Students will need to pay for their meal on the way home. Sign up now as space is limited!

Winter Blitz
You're invited to be a part of the Hop 1st UMC Youth who will be attending Winter Blitz 2025! Winter Blitz is a Youth Conference organized by the UMC KY Conference. This year Winter Blitz will take place at Broadway UMC on January 24th & 25th in Bowling Green, KY. The speaker for the conference is Rev. Caleb Wheat, Pastor of Antioch UMC, a thriving new church plant in Northern KY! Worship for the conference will be led by the Broadway UMC Worship Band. Departure times have yet to be determined for this event, but we will drive to Bowling Green both Friday night and Saturday morning. The cost to register for the conference is $40 per person.
